AMS provides a computerised Marquette electrocardiograph system as part of the Bodycheck series of tests.

This well proven equipment is linked via modem to our consultant cardiologists, where reading and confirmation of test results are available if required. In many cases this ensures that the employee tested is able to have the results presented to his own GP within 48 hours.

The system uses a 12 lead acquisition programme which produces computerised ECG analysis ensuring maximum correct identification of the "PQRST " wave complex.

The computer interprets the findings and will produce diagnostic statements and is capable of testing both adults and pediatrics.

Within the Bodycheck series of tests this facility provides valuable extra information regarding the employee's state of health which can also be presented to the individuals own GP if deemed necessary. This can result in both early detection and treatment of conditions which would not necessarily have been diagnosed by taking only pulse and blood pressure readings.
